FERTILITY OPTIONS FOR A RANGE OF INDIVIDUALS

FERTILITY OPTIONS FOR A RANGE OF INDIVIDUALS

Many individuals wish for a family but encounter obstacles on their journey. There are different options available for various situations, and our facility welcomes each individual on this journey.

  • LGBTQ+ Options
LGBTQ+ Options

Access to safe fertility care is a genuine concern among the LGBTQ+ community. Our services and facilities are recognized by the Human Rights Campaign for more than just our expertise. We are recognized for our commitment to ensuring all gay, lesbian and trans patients have access to safe, professional fertility care in a welcoming environment.

  • Lesbian Women
Lesbian Women

There are several treatment solutions for lesbians looking to start or grow their families. Couples and individuals can pursue artificial insemination (intrauterine insemination) or opt for in vitro fertilization with either a known or anonymous sperm donor if conceiving through insemination isn’t successful. Whatever the decision, our entire team of counselors, nurses and doctors patiently walk you through the process of choosing both treatment and a suitable sperm donor. Our care team can offer resources for legal advice to address potential issues with donor parenting rights or obligations.

  • Co-IVF for Lesbian Couples

Same-sex couples can share in the pregnancy journey by choosing co-IVF or reciprocal IVF. This approach removes eggs from one partner and inseminates them with donor sperm to create embryos. Once the embryo is created, it is inserted into the other partner’s uterus to be carried. Lesbian couples enjoy sharing the pregnancy journey, and women may reverse the roles when choosing to have a second child.

  • Transgender Options
Transgender Options

Transgender individuals can also pursue fertility through a range of options. Preserving the eggs, sperm, or embryos is the choice for some. Freezing the eggs, sperm or embryos before surgery or hormone therapy gives individuals the ability to have a genetic role in the planning of future children. Some transgender individuals can conceive and carry children on their own, but assisted reproductive technology could be necessary to facilitate a pregnancy.

These individuals could use intrauterine insemination, in vitro fertilization or gestational surrogacy. Transgender patients may need to pause hormone therapy when undergoing fertility treatment, but our doctors work carefully with them to help minimize any time spent off the therapy.

  • Single by Choice
Single by Choice

It’s common for a single woman to pursue her dream of having children without having a partner. These women are often called single by choice, and our services provide the fertility treatments single individuals need to start a family. As complicated as it may sound to become a single parent without the help of a partner, our caring, third-party reproduction team is with you all along the way. We have dedicated nurses, specialists and counselors who compassionately help you transition into parenthood.
