Courtney Liggera, Psy. D. is a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She helps patients coping with a variety of problems including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, grief and loss, trauma, and life transitions.
She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Colgate University, and her Psy.D. (Doctorate of Psychology) from The George Washington University. She completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at The Hutchings Psychiatric Center in
Syracuse, NY, and at Madison County Mental Health Center in Wampsville, NY.
Dr. Liggera believes in the power of psychodynamic/insight acclimated therapy, holding that the key to a successful therapeutic experience is being able to connect oneself with an unwavering guide in a secure and serene environment so that the path to overcoming life’s trials can become more clear. She is married, with two daughters, Alexandra and Ariella. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, baking and running.
