What is telemedicine?

In order to keep our patients and providers as safe as possible during the pandemic, Health Insurers have allowed the use of “telemedicine” during this time. Telemedicine encompasses phone calls as well as video messaging with your provider. Fortunately, with the help of the Healow app, you can communicate with your provider in a secure way, which keeps your sensitive health information private.

If you are scheduled for a telemedicine visit, you will receive an email with instructions and troubleshooting recommendations. Shortly prior to the appointment you will also receive a direct link to the video call. This simple link will ease the connection to your provider.

What do I do if I need a refill?

Contact our office and you will be scheduled with a provider, likely for a telemedicine appointment. You can also reach out through the patient portal to request a refill, if you are not yet due for an appointment.

What if I want to just TALK to my doctor?

Due to the ease of access created by telemedicine appointments, your provider may convert what may seem like a simple phone call into a telemedicine visit. This expansion, allows your provider to spend more time tailoring your care to you and providing any resources you may need to assist your journey to good health.
