Scheduling Appointments Online

Rittenhouse Women’s Wellness Center offers online scheduling for selected appointment types. 

To schedule: If you are a new patient, click the ‘Schedule Appointment’ button at the top of the page. Existing patients can schedule appointments through their Patient Portal or through the healow app. 

When you schedule your appointment online, please log into the portal to complete the associated questionnaire and new patient registration if applicable.  This will allow us to best prepare for your visit and permit your physician or nurse practitioner to spend more time with you. The image on the right shows where you can find this questionnaire once your appointment is scheduled.

The healow app allows for fast, free & easy self scheduling. No more waiting on the phone with our office for an appointment. Find an appointment that works for you and book instantly. Through the app, you can communicate directly with our office and access up to date medical records. You will be able to access your appointments, lab results, vitals, manage medications and other personal data all within one app.

Where can I self schedule an appointment?

You can self schedule an appointment with Rittenhouse Women’s Wellness Center in any of the following ways:

  1. Schedule Appointment button:
    • Best for NEW patients. Click the ‘Schedule Appointment’ button on the top right side of our website
  2. Patient Portal:
    • Best for EXISTING patients. Login to your patient portal using the ‘Patient Portal’ button on the top right side of our website. Once you are logged in, on the right side you will see a box with the header ‘Looking for an Appointment’. Below that, you can click on the button that says ‘Search an Appointment’.
  3. The healow app:
    • Best for Same Day appointments. Login to your healow app and click on ‘Find Appointment’ on the home page.
    • If you haven’t already, download the healow app using the links below. Please select the option that matches with your cellular device:

What types of appointments can I book through the system?

Visit types you can book through the system:

  • Annual Wellness Visit: The wellness visit includes measuring your height, weight, blood pressure, and heart rate, and may also include a physical exam. The visit is a chance to review healthy and potentially unhealthy lifestyle choices, such as diet, exercise pattern, smoking status, and alcohol use and discuss the need for specific screening tests based on your age and risk factors.
  • Annual Gyn Visit: The purpose of your routine annual gynecology exam is to allow your health care provider to check your female organs to ensure and maintain good gynecological health- this visit includes a breast exam and may include cervical cancer screening and a pelvic exam.
  • New Issue Consult: Choose this visit type if you want to see a provider for a new complaint / issue, or if you are a new patient who is not coming in for an Annual Wellness Visit. If you have multiple chronic issues or believe you will need extra time with the provider, please use the “Send Request” feature available in the system.
  • Follow-up Visit: Choose this visit type if you are following up on an issue or problem that you have already consulted a RWWC provider for, or if you need refills of a chronic medication.
  • Televisit: This is the only visit type available for telehealth location/visit. 
  • Same-day Sick Visit: Choose this visit type if you need immediate care. We’ll do everything we can to try to see you that day. These appointments are only available to be scheduled on the current day. 

  • Who can I book appointments with through this system?
Who can I book appointments with through this system?

Currently through the system, you can book in-office and telemedicine appointments with all of our Doctors and Nurse Practitioners. This includes:

  • Dr. Leslie Saltzman
  • Dr. Maria Mazzotti*
  • Dr. Gayllyn Faust-Rakos
  • Joanna Wishnoff, MSN, CRNP, FNP-BC
  • Molly Lee, MSN, CRNP, FNP-BC

At this time, we are not permitting nutrition, psychology or medical spa appointments to be booked through this system. For appointments with our Nutritionist, Psychologists or Aestheticians, please call the office to schedule at 215-735-7992.

*Dr. Maria Mazzotti is currently not accepting new patients. She is only accepting appointments from her current patient panel. However, she will still be available to all patients for her ‘Same Day Sick’ appointments.

While scheduling, the system is asking me to choose a facility. What facility should I select for my appointment?

There are two facility options to choose from:   RIM Philadelphia and Telemedicine.

  • Select RIM Philadelphia for an in-office visit
  • Select Telemedicine for a virtual, telehealth appointment

Please choose the facility that you believe would be most appropriate for your appointment.

When do I schedule an In-Office appointment versus a Telemedicine appointment?

In-office visits are available for Annual Wellness and Annual GYN visits and select cases where an in-person examination is needed; otherwise please book a telemedicine visit for all other issues. Reasons to schedule in-office versus telemedicine include lumps and bumps, vulvar, vaginal or pelvic pain (not discomfort), bleeding with intercourse, post-menopausal bleeding, hernias, ear pain with no cold-like symptoms or if your insurance does not cover telemedicine.


  • How do I know if my appointment was successfully scheduled?

Once your appointment is confirmed, you will get an email confirmation. If the appointment request is declined, you will get a ‘appointment declined’ email.


  • Can I make modifications to my appointment once it is booked?
Can I make modifications to my appointment once it is booked?

No, you can not modify the appointment in the system once it is booked. You can call the office for scheduling changes, or send us a message through your patient portal.


  • Who can I book with for a gynecological issue?
Who can I book with for a gynecological issue?

All of our primary care providers can perform routine annual exams and address routine gynecological issues such as birth control refills, yeast infections, and UTIs. For more complex gynecological issues, please choose the Gynecology specialty and book an appointment with our Gynecologist, Dr. Faust-Rakos.


  • When should I use the ‘Send Request’ button to schedule instead of selecting a visit type?
When should I use the ‘Send Request’ button to schedule instead of selecting a visit type?

Use the ‘Send Request’ button if you feel that your appointment type does not fit into any of the following categories: Annual Wellness Visit, Annual GYN visit, New Issue Consult or Follow-Up. Some specific examples to use the ‘Send Request’ button for include: pre-operation visits, travel visits, procedures, Medicare or visits that require extended time. Once you send the request, we will follow-up with you to get you scheduled for an appointment.

Follow the ‘forgot password’ instruction prompts. If you are still not able to get into your account, please call the office and a receptionist can reset your password for you.
