What do I do if I’m sick?

Please call our office! Our providers will evaluate you via Telemedicine and assist you with getting tested, if this is appropriate. Our providers will also be able to assess whether you need more emergent care and direct you to the emergency room as needed.

Should I get tested if I am worried?

There are situations in which testing may be appropriate even if you do not have symptoms – such as visiting a immunocompromised or elderly relative or upon returning from out-of-state (please be aware that PA currently has a travel advisory in place). If you are uncertain of whether you need to get tested, please contact us and our providers can help you clarify the situation and facilitate testing if appropriate.

What can I do to stay safe?

Common-sense hygiene practices, such as regular hand-washing and wearing a mask whenever you are in public areas can help reduce your risk of infection. Do not cough or sneeze into your hands – use an elbow. Avoid gatherings of over 10 people whenever possible. Keep your distance, even if you are masked! Make sure you are up-to-date with vaccines – including pneumonia, shingles vaccines and get a flu shot at your earliest opportunity!

As always, we wish for all our patients to stay well. Please contact us with any further questions or concerns and take care!
